Colin Ryan

Colin Ryan is currently working as the Head of Business Planning at SSE Energy Solutions, where they focus on creating a resilient and sustainable energy system. Prior to this, Colin held various roles at Southern Water, including Head of Programme, Head of Business Plan PMO, Programme Efficiency & Value Manager, Programme Manager, and Asset Planning Manager. Colin also worked at Thames Water as a Programme Development Lead and at Morphum Environmental as a Graduate Engineer, eventually becoming a Lead Design Engineer.

Colin Ryan's education history includes studying at the London Business School, where they focused on developing strategy for value creation. Colin also pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree at the University of Brighton. Additionally, Colin obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Galway.

In terms of certifications, Colin is a Chartered Engineer (CEng MIEI) by Engineers Ireland. Colin is also a member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM) and the Institute of Asset Management (MIAM). Furthermore, Colin holds the title of Registered NEC Project Manager from the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
