Damien McSweeney

Damien McSweeney is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and audit within the energy sector. Currently serving as Finance Director at Seagreen Wind Energy Ltd at SSE plc since April 2021, Damien has held various roles at SSE plc, including Senior Corporate Finance Manager since October 2013 and Senior Corporate Finance Executive at SSE Renewables from November 2010 to October 2013. Prior experience includes positions as Corporate Finance Executive at Scottish & Southern Energy Plc and Airtricity, as well as a tenure in financial services audit at KPMG. Damien holds a Chartered Accountant designation from Chartered Accountants Ireland and advanced degrees in Microelectronic Engineering and Electrical & Microelectronic Engineering from University College Cork.
