Danny McMillan

Danny McMillan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project and programme management within the energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Transmission Programme Manager at Scottish and Southern Energy since September 2005, Danny oversees transmission upgrades, including significant AC construction and HVDC systems projects. Previously, Danny held the position of Project Manager at REpower UK Ltd, where focus was on the construction of onshore wind farms. Prior to that, Danny served as Engineering Manager at Forbo Nairn Ltd, managing maintenance operations and capital expenditure planning for manufacturing plants. Danny began the career as a Technical Support Engineer at Cegelec Projects Ltd, delivering projects across various industries. Danny holds an MBA and a BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
