Eliane Algaard

Eliane Algaard, CEng FICE, currently serves as Operations Director - Distribution South at SSE plc since August 2020, following a role as Water Director at NWG from October 2018 to July 2020. Eliane has a comprehensive background in asset management and strategic planning, with significant experience at Network Rail from 2008 to 2018, where leadership roles included Director Route Safety and Asset Management and Head of Strategic Planning. Prior experience includes roles at VEOLIA WATER UK LIMITED, focusing on network maintenance and performance. Eliane holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Glasgow, an MSc in Water Resource Engineering Management, and a Postgraduate Award in Strategic Leadership from the University of Warwick.
