Jody MacKay

Jody Mackay is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in IT change management and organizational transformation, currently serving as Head of IT Change and Organisational Effectiveness at SSE plc since July 2015. With a strong focus on modernizing operating models, Jody has successfully stabilized a major billing platform and driven the development of significant regulatory submissions, such as the £4bn RIIO-ED2 Business Plan. Previous roles include leading enterprise-level transformation initiatives and establishing a centralized transformation portfolio at SSE, as well as managing complex project transitions for The City of Edinburgh Council, where Jody resolved considerable aged debt and supported major organizational changes. Jody holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) with Distinction from Edinburgh Napier University and has further education from Strathclyde Business School and The Open University, focusing on business studies and systems thinking.
