Lasantha Gunatilaka

Lasantha Gunatilaka is an experienced contract and vendor management professional with a strong background in IT procurement and technology management. Currently serving as a Contract Manager for IT Procurement at SSE plc since June 2023, Lasantha has previously held significant roles including Senior Technology Vendor Manager at the Bank of England from August 2022 to July 2023 and various positions at the British Council from January 2005 to August 2022, such as Supplier Manager, Contracts and Relationships Manager, and Operations Manager. Lasantha began the career as a Systems Analyst and Administrator at Ceylinco Life Insurance Limited from 1998 to 2001. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from University College Dublin and a National Diploma in Management Information Systems from the National Institute of Business Management in Sri Lanka.
