Niall Murphy

Niall Murphy is an experienced public affairs professional currently serving as Head of Public Affairs for Scotland at SSE plc since October 2020, after previously holding the position of Group Public Affairs Manager. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Researcher and Westminster Office Manager for John Nicolson MP at the House of Commons from January 2020 to October 2020. Niall held the role of Public Affairs Manager at Centrica from October 2016 to January 2020, following a position as a Commercial Marketing Graduate. Additional experience includes a summer placement as a Digital Content Marketing Assistant at British Gas Business in 2015 and a public affairs assistant summer placement at SSE plc in 2014. Niall holds an MA (Hons) in Politics from The University of Edinburgh, obtained from 2012 to 2016.
