David Romero Selas is a seasoned Senior Procurement and Commercial Manager with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently working at SSE Renewables since November 2023. With over 16 years of expertise in procurement management, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation, David has played key roles in various companies including EDP Renewables, where responsibilities included overseeing purchasing processes for wind farms and PV plants across Europe and Brazil. Previous positions include Purchasing Director at Loesche GmbH, where David specialized in sourcing for cement and mining plants, and Project Purchasing and Procurement Engineer at FCC, handling procurement for energy and construction projects.
