Lauren Swan

Lauren Swan is an experienced professional in environmental project management with a strong background in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Lead Development Project Manager and Consents Manager at SSE Renewables since April 2021, Lauren focuses on securing consents and coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments for the Coire Glas Hydro Pumped Storage project. Prior experience at SSE plc from November 2011 to April 2021 includes roles as Environmental Project Manager and Environmental Advisor for Transmission Major Projects, where responsibilities encompassed various transmission projects across Scotland, including the Kintyre to Hunterston network upgrade. Lauren began the career as a Graduate Environmental Advisor, contributing to multiple transmission projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Animal Biology from Edinburgh Napier University.
