Robert Young is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as a Board Member at Dundee and Angus College since February 2025 and as Operations Manager for the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm at SSE Renewables since May 2021. Prior to these roles, Robert worked as a Site Manager at SP Energy Networks and held positions at Faithful+Gould as both Assistant Project Manager and Project Management Trainee. Experience also includes working as a Freelance Offshore Inspection/Maintenance Technician and as a Maintenance Technician at Intertek. An electrician by trade, Robert completed an apprenticeship with Arthur Mckay and has pursued extensive education, currently studying for an MBA in Renewable Energy at UHI and holding a BSc in Construction Management from Glasgow Caledonian University.
