Chibuike Ilomuanya

Chibuike Ilomuanya is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Grid Engineer at SSE Thermal since February 2023, Chibuike previously held roles at Ofgem, including Senior Manager for Core Electricity Connections and Associate Engineer, from September 2020 to February 2023. Academic foundations were laid at Glasgow Caledonian University, where Chibuike earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Power Engineering and an M.Sc. in Applied Instrumentation and Control. Prior experience includes positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Glasgow Caledonian University, Combat Engineer in the British Army, and Maintenance Engineer at Diageo.
