Heather McLarty

Heather McLarty currently serves as an Assistant Project Manager at SSEN Transmission, a position held since December 2024. Prior to this role, Heather was employed at Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, first as a Project Manager and later as a Senior Project Manager from September 2022 to November 2024. Heather's experience also includes a role as Group Project Manager at Highland Spring Ltd and various project management positions at Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult from December 2018 to March 2022. Earlier in Heather's career, an engineering role was undertaken at SSE plc as a Graduate Engineer. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems and the Environment and a BEng in Aero-Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Strathclyde, along with participation in the Erasmus Exchange Programme in Mechanical Engineering at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
