Matthew Craven

Matthew Craven is a Senior System Planning and Investment Engineer at SSEN Transmission since November 2019, with prior experience as a Transmission System Planner and Investment Engineer. Previously, Matthew worked at Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks as a Distribution Connections Designer from June 2018 to November 2019 and completed a Graduate Summer Placement at ScottishPower in July 2017, where contributions were made to maintenance tasks at hydro power stations. Early work experience includes roles as a Kitchen Assistant at JD Wetherspoon from August 2014 to October 2016 and at McDonald's from November 2012 to August 2014. Matthew holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in the same field, as well as Scottish Highers from the Academy.
