Gitte Stawski

Quality Control Director at Statens Serum Institut

Gitte Stawski has extensive work experience in the field of quality control in the vaccine industry. Gitte started their career in 1994 at Statens Serum Institut (SSI) where they held various roles including academic staff, quality control manager, and quality control director. In these roles, they were responsible for team management, ensuring compliance with GMP regulations, budget planning, recruitment, technology transfer, strategy execution, resource planning, and Lean management. Gitte also played a key role in analytical procedures, method development and validation, regulatory documentation, stability testing, and equipment qualification. In 2017, they joined AJVaccines as a QC director.

Gitte Stawski obtained a Ph.D. in the Faculty of Medicine from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, during the period from 1988 to 1992. Prior to that, they earned a Cand. Scient. degree in Biology from the same university, completing it between 1981 and 1988.
