Mark Knowlden

Mark Knowlden is an experienced business development leader with a strong background in the retail and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as Head of Business Development for SSP Group plc since May 2023, Mark focuses on driving growth in the Eastern Europe and Middle East regions. Prior roles include Group Business Development and Strategy Manager at Poundland & Dealz, where Mark led a significant refresh program, and various positions at SSP Group plc, where Mark achieved notable successes in securing new business in Bahrain and Brazil. Earlier experience includes leading business development initiatives at Tesco PLC, managing international operations at Peacocks, and overseeing commercial relationships at London City Airport. Mark holds an LLB in Law from King's College London and a LPC in Commercial Law from The College of Law, London.
