Executive Director, Enterprise Pmo, Operational Excellence at SSP Innovations

Jill Shadwell is an experienced project management professional with a diverse background spanning multiple industries. Jill currently holds the position of Executive Director of PMO, Support, and Strategic Projects at SSP Innovations, LLC since October 2022. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the Project Management Organization (PMO) in the Systems Implementation and Data Organizations, managing a team of 23 project managers and all associated projects. Jill also develops and enforces the usage of the PMO and Systems Implementation Methodology to achieve operational, financial, and project goals.

Prior to their current role, Jill held the position of Director PMO at SSP Innovations, LLC from April 2021 to February 2023. In this role, they had direct management and oversight for 14 project managers and all associated projects, which ranged in size from $50k to $14M. Their primary focus was on software implementation and development, including custom functionality of desktop and web applications, as well as systems integrations. Jill also had financial management responsibilities for these projects.

Before joining SSP Innovations, LLC, Jill worked at TEKsystems from 2012 to 2019 in various senior management roles. As the Sr. Regional Manager Delivery Services from January 2017 to May 2019, they were responsible for service delivery management across the United States, overseeing 3,100 consultants and managing a GP target of 29%+. Jill also served as the Senior Manager Services Delivery and Service Delivery Manager during their time at TEKsystems.

Jill also has experience at IQNavigator + Beeline as the Executive Director of the Project Management Office/Implementation Center of Excellence from November 2010 to September 2012. Prior to that, they worked at ProBuild as a PMO/Senior Program Manager from August 2008 to November 2010.

Earlier in their career, Jill held the position of Senior Project Manager/Director of Operations at Silicon Plains Technologies from September 2003 to August 2008. During this time, they directed the activities of the US Operations and had global management responsibilities over India, Malaysia, and Singapore. Jill also developed the Program Management Office and introduced PMI Methodology to the organization.

Jill's work experience also includes a role as a Senior Project Manager/PMO Manager at Royal & SunAlliance Insurance - E from September 1998 to September 2003. In this role, they managed extranet application development projects and designed and developed the Project Management Office for the IT division.

Jill started their career at Senn-Delaney Consulting Group, Inc as a Project Manager from October 1992 to August 1998.

Jill Shadwell, PMP, CSM has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, which they obtained from 1988 to 1993. In 2010, they received Agile Scrum Certified training from Agile. Jill also holds an ITIL certification from Internal TEKsystems. Jill is a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by PMI, specializing in Project Management.
