Bernarda Elizalde - Andrews is an experienced sustainability and corporate responsibility professional, currently serving as the Sustainability Director at SSR Mining Inc. since October 2024. Previously, Elizalde - Andrews held the position of Community Relations Lead at Adventus Mining Corporation, where responsibilities included developing community relations programs in Ecuador and managing key stakeholder relationships. With a strong foundation in environmental sciences and social responsibility, Elizalde - Andrews has also provided expert testimony on ESG issues and held leadership roles at various organizations, such as Torex Gold Resources Inc. and the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada. Elizalde - Andrews’ educational background includes an MSc in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University & Research and postgraduate studies in Conflict Prevention and Transformation.
