Brendan O'Brien

Brendan O'Brien is a seasoned water management professional with extensive experience in the mining and water resources sectors. Currently serving as Director of Water Management at SSR Mining Inc. since July 2023, Brendan previously held key positions at Golder, including Assistant Vice President - Water Resources Engineer and Senior Project Engineer, where Brendan focused on surface water engineering. Brendan's experience also includes leadership roles as Director of Water at Newmont Goldcorp Corporation and Goldcorp, as well as managerial roles in environment and water optimization. Brendan began their career as a Hydrologist at Applied Hydrology Associates after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University.
