Mark Thorpe

Mark Thorpe is an experienced leader in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, currently serving as VP EHSS at SSR Mining Inc. and Chair of the Board of Directors at Novamera Inc. With a robust background in ESG consulting through ARI LLC, Mark has advised prominent organizations such as Endeavour Silver and Evocati Resources. Previous roles include Executive Director and CEO of EnviroGold Global, where Mark developed innovative recovery technologies, and SVP ESG at INV Metals Inc., where strategic permitting efforts were advanced for the Loma Larga Mining Project. Mark's leadership experience further extends to roles in corporate responsibility at Torex Gold Resources Inc., as well as academic contributions with a Ph.D. in mine land rehabilitation and various management qualifications.
