Ufuk Yilmaz

Ufuk YILMAZ is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on process control systems and instrumentation. Currently serving as the Process Control Systems Superintendent and I&C and Operational Technology Chief Engineer at SSR Mining Inc. since January 2021, Ufuk YILMAZ is responsible for leading the Operational Technology and Control teams to achieve project milestones and ensuring reliable PLC and DCS applications for maintenance activities. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior I&C Engineer at Alacer Gold Corp., where responsibilities encompassed operational readiness and commissioning of both the Sulphide and Oxide Plants, overseeing maintenance and management of various control systems. Earlier in the career, Ufuk YILMAZ worked as an Electrical & Automation Engineer at İsdemir, focusing on calibrations and maintenance of control instruments. Ufuk YILMAZ holds an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cukurova University, obtained between 2000 and 2006.
