Emil Ponnert

Emil Ponnert is an experienced LPG Shipbroker currently employed at SSY since November 2024, following a position at Arrow Shipbroking Group from March 2023 to October 2024. Prior to these roles, Emil served as Director of IR & Corporate Development at Aventura, a digital-first investment group focusing on China's consumer and e-commerce sectors. Emil's shipbroking career began at Inge Steensland Shipbrokers AS, specializing in LPG chartering, and included a stint at Copenhagen Marine Capacity as a Projects Shipbroker, focusing on container and tanker vessels. Emil co-founded and grew Scandiweb's Nordic subsidiary and briefly worked as a Management Consultant for Northstream. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics, complemented by studies at WU, Lund University, and the University of California, Berkeley.
