Vivienne McVey

Dr. Vivienne McVey joined St Andrew’s Healthcare in August 2022 as Chief Executive.

She originally qualified as a doctor and worked as a full-time GP before taking on a clinical leadership role within the NHS as Executive Chair of Chiltern and South Bucks Primary Care Trust. She left general practice in 2006 to help fund a business, now known as the HCRG Care Group, providing transformational health and care services in the community on behalf of the NHS and local authorities.

Vivienne’s medical background and distinguished track record for building and running large, successful healthcare organizations will be key in supporting the ongoing improvement in the quality of care we provide for the patients and in helping the Charity innovate and develop the new services patients need. The work she has done in partnership with a wide variety of NHS organizations and Local Authorities will be invaluable as we expand our community-based services and deliver the exciting plans we have in both education and research.
