Amanda Rampersaud

Amanda Rampersaud, PharmD, BCPS has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Amanda began their career as a Senior EKG Telemetry Technician at Philips Remote Cardiac Services from 2005 to 2010. Amanda then transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, starting as a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Caremark Corporation from 2013 to 2013. Amanda further expanded their expertise by working as a Pharmacy Research Intern at Columbia University Medical Center in 2014.

From 2015 to 2016, Amanda worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. During this time, they also gained industry experience by interning at Pfizer as a Drug Safety/Regulatory Operations Intern. In 2016, they further enhanced their knowledge in regulatory affairs by interning at GERITREX CORP as a Regulatory Affairs Intern.

In 2017, Amanda returned to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center as a Pharmacy Practice Resident, which further solidified their clinical skills. Amanda then took on the role of Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator - Internal Medicine/Transitions of Care from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director of Pharmacy Clinical Services at SBH Health System, a role they assumed in October 2020.

Amanda Rampersaud, PharmD, BCPS completed their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree at Touro College of Pharmacy from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Biology from Long Island University, studying from 2010 to 2012. In December 2020, they earned the certification of Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist from the BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties.
