La Shemah Williams, LCSW-R, MBA has a diverse work experience in the field of behavioral health. La Shemah began their career as a Clinical Supervisor at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in 2007 and worked in this role until 2013. During this time, they gained experience in providing clinical supervision and support to a team.

In 2013, La Shemah joined Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center as a Coordinator. La Shemah held this position until 2016, where they were responsible for coordinating various aspects of the behavioral health program.

In 2016, La Shemah transitioned to SBH Health System, where they initially served as an Administrative Director. In this role, they provided clinical and administrative oversight to the Behavioral Health Program, ensuring compliance with OMH part 599 regulations. La Shemah'scomprehensive knowledge in this area was an asset to the program, which served 3800 patients.

La Shemah's dedication and expertise led their to be promoted to the position of Senior Director of Behavioral Health in January 2021 at SBH Health System, where they continue to contribute to the development and success of the program.

Additionally, La Shemah has also had experience as a Psychotherapist in private practice since 2004, allowing their to provide therapeutic support to individuals.

La Shemah Williams, LCSW-R, MBA, received their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Northeastern University in 1995. La Shemah then pursued their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Fordham University from 2000 to 2002. In 2019, La Shemah completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Adelphi University and the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business. La Shemah also holds certifications in Social Work Practice Fellows from Adelphi University (2018) and Innovation 90 from the American Hospital Association (2017).
