Valerie Thigpen

Valerie Thigpen is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community relations and healthcare coordination. Currently serving as a Community Relations Specialist at Trellus since July 2024, Valerie also holds the position of Special Needs Treatment Coordinator at St. Bernard Hospital, a role commenced in November 2019. In addition, Valerie has been the Lead Coordinator for Outreach Ministries at Mercy Seat M B Church since October 2015, where responsibilities include hosting information sessions and organizing volunteer recognition programs. Prior experience includes working as an OR Coordinator for dental at St. Bernard Hospital, managing scheduling for special needs patients, and serving as a Senior Receptionist at ManpowerGroup, where duties involved patient scheduling and interoffice services. Valerie Thigpen graduated from Rezin ORR High School in 1988 with a diploma in General Studies.
