Rosiland Robin White represents District 10. She is serving her first term on the Board, which began in January 2019. In her first year she achieved the status of Distinguished Board member by receiving 16 or more hours of training.
Mrs. White is a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish and is of Islenos Heritage. She earned an Associate Degree in Occupational Studies in Office Administration. She holds certificates of completion in Clerical, Secretarial, Microsoft Excel, as well as certificates from the Archdiocese of New Orleans for Elementary Catholic School Catechist and Elementary CCS Catechist. She taught CCD classes for nine years. She is a recipient of the Order of the St. Louis Medallion.
She was Sales Manager at Dixie Well Supply, a Marine, Oilfield, and Industrial Supply and hardware. She also worked at Home Depot as a Special Service Associate. Mrs. White and her husband own and operate Robert White Seafood.
She is the author of a children's book and has written many poems, which have been published. Recently, two of her poems were published in a book called The Other Side of Suffering by Oxford University.
She and her husband, Robert, have three children, Tessie, Robert, Jr., and Ryan. They also have eight grandchildren. Mrs. White spends many evenings at the ball parks in the parish.
