Catherine is a parent governor and has two sons at St Boniface’s Catholic College. She became a parent governor to enable parents to have a voice on the Governing Board and to support the schools to enhance the lives of the children who attend both schools.
Catherine is a qualified nurse and runs a Social Enterprise in the South West called Memory Matters which include the largest social enterprise café in Plymouth called Moments Cafe. Memory Matters supports those affected by Dementia across the UK. Catherine spends time supporting those affected by Dementia by linking with community and statutory organisations around the UK to reduce crisis and ensure that everyone has an equal chance at living life successfully.
Catherine is Lead Governor for Safeguarding and Link Governor for Parents and Community.
