Alice Phillips

Head at ST. CATHERINE'S SCHOOL, BRAMLEY

Alice Phillips has an extensive work experience in the field of education and school administration. Alice served as the Head of St Catherine's School, Bramley starting in 2000. In 2014, they became the President of the Girls School Association. Additionally, they held positions as a Governor and Chair of the Education Committee at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Surrey, and as a Member of the Institute of Directors. Prior to these roles, they were the Deputy Head at Tormead School and the Head of English/Head of English Department at the Royal Masonic School, where they began their career in 1983.

Alice Phillips attended Kendal High School from 1971 to 1978. Alice then went on to study at Newnham College, Cambridge from 1979 to 1982, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in English. Alice further pursued their education at the same institution and completed their MA Cantab in 1985.
