Erica Skatvold

Erica Skatvold has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Erica began their career at Deschutes Public Library, where they held positions as a Public Services Specialist, Library Assistant II, and Library Assistant I from 2009 to 2011. Erica then worked at the University of Chicago Graduate Program in Health Administration and Policy as an Arthur B. Quern Fellow from June to December 2012. Erica also participated in an International Policy Practicum at Operation ASHA and the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy Studies, focusing on the fight against tuberculosis in India, from October 2012 to April 2013. In 2012, they interned as a Project Management Intern at Medical Home Network. The following year, they worked with the Center for Health and Social Sciences at the University of Chicago as a Pre-award Grants and Contracts Office Assistant from October 2011 to June 2013. Erica was also an Interdisciplinary Consulting Team Member and Arogya World Fellow at Arogya World and the University of Chicago Graduate Program in Health Administration and Policy from March to June 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they served as an Independent Contractor/Consultant for Hawaii Quality Physician Organization (HQPO) at 'ike (formerly DataHouse Holdings Corp.). Finally, Erica joined St. Charles Health System in August 2015 as a Clinical Informatics Specialist and later transitioned into roles such as Clinical Practice & Professional Development Manager and Director of Quality Management, which they currently hold.

Erica Skatvold received a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) degree in Public Policy (Health Administration and Policy) from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, which they attended from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Studies (Development and Gender Relations) and Italian (Culture and Language) from the University of Denver, where they studied from 2005 to 2008.
