Jacob Orr

Jacob Orr has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Merchandiser at Kalina, Inc. in 2009. Jacob then worked as a Floor-Set Employee at American Eagle Outfitters, Inc., followed by their position as Chairman of the Youth Advisory Board at E&A Credit Union. Jacob also served as a Security Officer at U.S. Security Associates, Inc. Jacob joined Best Buy in 2012, taking on various roles such as Computer & Tablet Customer Specialist, Mobile Samsung Expert, and Asset Protection Specialist. In 2015, they worked as a Dispatcher - Police Service Aide at Madison Heights Police Department and as a Multi-Channel Sales Consultant at Best Buy. From 2015 to 2018, Jacob worked as a Premises Technician at AT&T. Their most recent position is with the St. Clair County Regional Educational Service Agency, where they began as an IT Support Technician and progressed to become an Associate Director of Information Technology.

Jacob Orr completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Research Psychology from the University of Michigan-Flint, which they attended from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Art degree in Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement from Saint Clair County Community College, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Jacob's initial education was completed at Marysville High School, where they received their Diploma in General studies after attending from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Jacob also obtained a Chief Technology Officer certification from the Michigan School Business Officials in February 2023.
