Michael Coonen

Michael Coonen, M.S., serves as the Director of Transfer Partnerships and Collaboration at St. Cloud State University since July 2010, previously holding the position of Associate Director of Admissions, Transfer Initiatives and Operations. In these roles, Michael leads a team focused on developing recruitment strategies for new-entering transfer students, oversees CRM administration, and builds partnerships with community colleges to facilitate student transfer processes. Michael has also contributed as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions and an Assistant Track and Field Coach/Recruiting Coordinator, demonstrating expertise in creating training programs and enhancing recruitment efforts in athletics. Michael holds a Master of Science in Sports Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from St. Cloud State University.
