Shawn Terryah

Shawn Terryah is a skilled data scientist with experience in both healthcare and education sectors. Currently serving at St. David's HealthCare since December 2018, Shawn previously worked as a data engineer at Civitas Learning, where the role focused on enhancing student graduation rates through data-driven insights. Prior roles include research scientist at Spyryx Biosciences and program manager at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Tobacco Research Center. Shawn began academic training as a graduate research assistant at Yale University and gained early experience as a graduate research intern at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research. Shawn holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases from Yale University and completed a Data Science Immersive program at Galvanize Inc in 2017.
