Andrea Cornelius

Andrea Cornelius has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2019. She completed her studies in physics at the Ruhr University in Bochum in 1987 and received her doctorate in natural sciences from the University of Hamburg in 1991. Since 2018 she has been a lecturer for digital technology, entrepreneurship and marketing management at Munich University of Applied Sciences. Before that, she held various managerial positions for IBM Deutschland GmbH in Munich from 2008 to 2018. There she took over the management of the newly founded unit IBM Analytics, Consultative Sales EMEA, as Vice President and Managing Partner in 2015, and from 2016 was global head of the IBM Cognitive Solutions Insurance business unit. From 2017 she was Global Lead Account Partner for a large international insurance customer.
