Derek Smith

Derek Smith has over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as a Senior Manager for Registered Clubs at St George Bank since October 2006. In this role, Derek focuses on supporting the Hospitality industry, specifically assisting clubs in serving their local communities. Prior to this position, Derek worked as an Executive Manager where the responsibilities included managing large corporate client accounts across various sectors such as retail, manufacturing, and wholesale. Derek began career at Commonwealth Bank of Australia in January 1998 as a Relationship Executive, where outstanding customer service was achieved, along with effective management of client expectations for potential projects. Education was completed at Hunters Hill High School.
