Melissa Mogollon

Melissa Mogollon currently serves as the Assistant Director of Equity and Inclusion at St. George's School since August 2023. Previous experience includes positions as a Teacher at the Iowa Young Writers' Studio in June 2022 and English Teacher at St. George's School from August 2019 to June 2021. Melissa also worked as a Corporate Communications Specialist at The Walt Disney Studios from October 2018 to August 2019. Additional roles include Undergraduate Creative Writing Instructor, Counselor at the Iowa Young Writers' Studio, Editorial Assistant at University of Iowa Press, and Graduate Advisor for Ink Lit Mag from August 2016 to June 2018. Prior to these positions, Melissa was a Digital Specialist at Oceana from May 2015 to May 2016. Educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in English and Creative Writing from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor's degree in Political Communication from The George Washington University.
