Phil Painter has extensive experience in teaching and training English as a second language, currently serving as a teacher trainer and senior teacher at St Giles International since September 2002. Phil became a senior teacher in December 2004 and has been a teacher trainer since February 2006. Previous roles include local tutor for the Distance DELTA program at International House London and teaching general and business English at Caledonian School. Phil's early teaching experience includes positions at Akademie J. A. Komenskeho and UCL Language Centre, where responsibilities ranged from evening classes to course coordination and administration. Educational qualifications include an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, a Cambridge DELTA, and a BA in French and History of Art from UCL.
