Samira Saberi Guy

Samira Saberi Guy has over a decade of experience in education, currently serving as a Teacher at St. HOPE Public Schools since July 2020. Prior roles include ELA Content Specialist at KIPP Public Schools Northern California from July 2018 to July 2020, and Teacher at KIPP Bay Area Public Schools from July 2016 to July 2018. Samira's career began as a Special Education Teacher with the NYC Department of Education from September 2013 to June 2016, following participation as a Corps Member with Teach For America from May 2013 to June 2015. Samira holds a Master of Science in Special Education and Teaching from Hunter College (2013-2015) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Science and Medicine and a minor in Psychology from UC San Diego (2009-2013).
