Ellen Rooney

Ellen Rooney has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Ellen began their career in 1998 as an Assistant to the Director at LSU Laboratory School. From 2002 to 2012, they worked as an Administrator at Trinity Episcopal Church. In 2013, they took on the role of Director of Communications and Public Relations at Spiritas Senior Services for a few months before transitioning to the position of Director of Compliance and Safety at St. James Place Retirement Community. In their current role, they are responsible for developing the corporate compliance program, coordinating safety and risk management programs, and providing education to employees.

Ellen Rooney obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from Louisiana State University, where they studied from 1980 to 1985.
