Dr. Michael Wilson

Dr. Michael Wilson has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Dr. Michael currently holds the role of Clinical Lead - Urgent Care at St John WA, starting in June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Area Medical Director, Medical Services at International SOS from September 2017 to June 2023. Dr. Wilson also worked as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at The University of Auckland from January 2011 to September 2017 and as a Vocational Trainer, General Practice Registrars at the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners during the same period. Additionally, they held the position of General Manager, The Doctors Mangere at Green Cross Health from July 2010 to August 2017.

Dr. Michael Wilson obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Otago in 1995. In 1997, they received a Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics from the same university. Dr. Michael then pursued a Diploma in Public Health from The University of Auckland, which they completed in 2001. In 2017, Dr. Wilson obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from the University of Otago. Additionally, they are a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2008.
