Peter Maher

Peter Maher, OAM, FAICD, CCEO, is the Chief Executive Officer of St John Ambulance Queensland since May 2024 and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Australian Catholic University since January 2023. With a distinguished career in leadership roles, Peter has been the Chairman of Armidale Catholic Schools since September 2020 and the Director and CEO of PM and Associates, a management consultancy, since April 2019, providing strategic advice in multiple countries. Previously, Peter was the CEO of Challenge Community Services from August 2020 to August 2022 and held directorships at Open Minds and Southern Cross Care Queensland. Peter managed various initiatives at St Vincent de Paul Society in both Queensland and the Northern Territory, contributing to community and social services. Educational qualifications include multiple advanced degrees in education and management from Australian Catholic University and the University of Wollongong.
