Gavin Jones

Gavin Jones is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Director of HR at St John Paul II Multi Academy since September 2022, following a role as Head of HR. Prior to this, Gavin spent over three years at Bupa in various capacities, including Area Manager and HR Delivery Partner. From 2015 to April 2019, Gavin was the School HR Business Manager at Birmingham City Council, overseeing non-teaching aspects such as HR, finance, and administration while partnering with the Headteacher as part of the senior leadership team. Gavin’s extensive retail background includes multiple managerial positions at Sainsbury's from 1998 to January 2015. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate degree in Human Resources Management (CIPD Level 7) from the University of Wolverhampton and 'A' Levels from Rowley Regis College.
