Valorie Baker is the current Head of School at ST JOHNS COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL. Prior to their current position, they served as the Head of Middle School at Webb School of Knoxville from July 2017 to July 2020. Valorie Baker has also been the Director of Auxiliary Programs at Palmer Trinity School, Director of External Affairs and Community Relations at Louisville Collegiate School, and Director of Counseling and Student Support Services at Episcopal School of Jacksonville. In addition to their administrative roles, Valorie Baker is also a Founder, Owner, and Director of Beaches Volleyball Academy, and has served as a College Admissions Counselor at The Bolles School and Associate Athletic Director at Harpeth Hall School.

Valorie Baker has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business/Communications from Eastern Kentucky University.
