Michelle Sjogren

Michelle Sjogren currently serves as the AVP for Institutional Advancement & Strategic Communications at St. Johns River State College, a position held since August 2022, focusing on empowering students. Prior to this role, Michelle held various leadership positions in communications, including Executive Director of Communications at Bluegrass Community and Technical College and Associate VP for Strategic Communications at Gateway Community and Technical College. Michelle's experience also includes directing communications for Reading Camp, an international program aimed at improving reading skills for elementary students, as well as roles in marketing and public relations across multiple organizations. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of North Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Florida.
