Elizabeth Nackman

Environmental Scientist at ST JOHNS RIVER WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT

Elizabeth Nackman currently serves as an Environmental Scientist at the St. Johns River Water Management District, a position held since November 2021. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing water quality samples from the Ocklawaha and St. John's middle basins, ensuring data integrity for the Water Quality Collection System database, and maintaining water sampling equipment. Prior experience includes an internship at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey in early 2020. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Natural Resources, and Conservation from the University of Central Florida and is working towards a Master's degree in Ecological Restoration at the University of Florida, expected to be completed in January 2024.
