Paul Antonecchia, MD, MBA has extensive work experience in the medical field. Paul started their career as a Resident Physician in Internal Medicine at Westchester Medical Center in 1990 and continued until 1993. Paul then became the Chief Medical Resident at the same medical center. In 1994, they joined St. Vincent's Health Services in Bridgeport, CT as an Associate Chief Medical Officer, a role they held until 2008. Following that, they became the Chief Medical Officer at St. John's Riverside Hospital in 2008.

Paul Antonecchia, MD, MBA completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering at Manhattan College from 1982 to 1986. Paul then attended New York Medical College from 1986 to 1990, earning their Medical Doctor (MD) degree with a focus on Medicine. Paul Antonecchia also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, from the University of Hartford. As for additional certifications, they obtained the Patient Safety & Risk Management Sub-Specialty certification (CHCQM-PSRM) from the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP) in September 2022.
