Sushant Bandarpalle Do, Aahivs

Sushant Bandarpalle, DO, AAHIVS has an extensive work experience in the medical field. From 2014 to 2017, they served as a Resident Doctor and later as the Chief Resident Physician at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education. During this time, they gained valuable knowledge and skills in patient care and medical leadership. In 2017, they joined NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, where they contributed to the Pre-visit Planning Committee and served as an EPIC Provider Champion. In 2018, they joined St. John's Community Health as an Attending Physician and later became the Regional Medical Director. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Medical Officer at St. John's Community Health, starting in 2023. Their professional journey showcases their expertise and dedication to providing high-quality healthcare.

Sushant Bandarpalle, DO, AAHIVS has a strong educational background in the medical field. Sushant completed their Board Certification in Family Medicine from The Wright Center GME/NYU Lutheran Medical Center, where they participated in the Family Medicine Residency Program from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (D.O.) degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine from 2010 to 2014, specializing in Osteopathic Medicine/Osteopathy.

Sushant's undergraduate studies were focused on Cell Biology and Neuroscience, earning him a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Rutgers University in 2010. Before their university education, they received a High School Diploma from John F Kennedy Memorial High School in 2006.

In addition to their degrees, Sushant has obtained several certifications to further enhance their expertise. Sushant achieved the MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) certification from the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) in April 2019. In December 2018, they obtained the AAHIVM (American Academy of HIV Medicine) certification. Lastly, in September 2017, they received the AOA (American Osteopathic Association) certification.
