Joseph Guisti

Joseph Guisti, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Joseph currently serves as the Director of Data and Impact at St. Joseph Center. Prior to this, they worked as the Social Sciences Faculty Director and Adjunct Faculty at Northwestern University School of Professional Studies. Joseph also held the position of Data Strategist and Research Coordinator at the Institute for Nonviolence Chicago. Joseph has a strong background in research, having served as a Doctoral Candidate in Sociology at Northwestern University, where they also worked as a Research Assistant. Joseph has also gained experience as a Qualitative Field Worker / Research Assistant at UChicago Crime Lab. Joseph's teaching experience includes working as a Teaching Assistant at Northwestern University, Dept of Sociology, and as a Course Instructor at Hollywood Entertainment Museum. Additionally, they have held positions as a Research Assistant and Peer Learning Facilitator (tutor) at UCLA. Joseph's early career involved providing in-home therapy for autistic children as a Lead Behavioral Therapist at Behavioral Consultants and Associates.

Joseph Guisti, PhD, completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology at UCLA from 2007 to 2010. Joseph then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sociology at Northwestern University, graduating in 2019.
