Michael Hegarty

Michael Hegarty currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at St. Joseph's Foundation since June 2022. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at the Health Service Executive from May 2015 to June 2022, including Disability Services Manager and Manager of Client Services. Michael's earlier career includes roles such as Social Care Manager and Social Care Worker at Brothers of Charity Services Ireland from November 2003 to May 2015, and as a Healthcare Assistant for older persons with the Society of African Missions, Inc. from September 2001 to November 2003. Michael Hegarty earned a Masters of Commerce with First Class Honours in Government & Public Policy from University College Cork in 2018, following a Higher Diploma in Social Studies in Social Care from Munster Technological University in 2003.
