Maria Christensen, PhD has been with St. Joseph's Children's Hospital since 2004, currently serving as the Administrative Director of ED/Trauma Services. Prior to that, Maria worked at St. Joseph's Healthcare System and Hackensack University Medical Center as a Trauma Program Manager. Maria holds a Ph.D. in Health Policy and Management from Walden University and dual Master's degrees in Registered Nursing and Burn, Emergency, Trauma from Widener University. Throughout their career, Maria has focused on strategic planning, performance improvement, budget development, and program development in the healthcare field.
