David Ochoa

David Ochoa currently serves as the Area Executive Director for Mid-America at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC, a position held since June 2022. Previously, Ochoa was the Executive Director of the Hispanic Development Fund from September 2019 to June 2021, focusing on improving the quality of life for Latino families in Greater Kansas City through philanthropy. Between March 2009 and September 2019, Ochoa worked at the KU Endowment Association, initially as Development Director and Team Lead for the School of Medicine and later as Director of Development for the School of Pharmacy, where leadership in fundraising efforts was paramount. Ochoa’s career began at the KU Alumni Association as the Coordinator of Member Relations from June 2007 to March 2009. Ochoa holds a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Sports Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Kansas.
